I go into Bloomingdale's looking for a reasonable daytime shoe that I can walk in easily. (I'm going to New York next week and wanted something other than my boots to wear) So I find a cute wedge heel with an ankle strap - brown, comfortable, but still chic. I try it on. It works. I'm ready to check out. But then I see it. The most beautiful Marc Jacobs black patent leather heel I have ever seen in my life. And it's on sale. And then I realize it's 50% off the already marked down price. And it's my size. The only one left in Bloomingdale's and it's my size!
Needless to say, I bought them (both the sensible shoe and the lovely, perfect, divine Marc Jacobs). So my question is this: Justified purchase or silly splurge? The original price was $350, marked down to $209, then 50% off of that which made them just over $100 total.
